1. When I begin to use the service, why do I get an error message about "cookies"?

Cookies are used to ask a web browser to temporarily remember a piece of information that the web server will need again. We use cookies to temporarily store the information you enter on one page and carry that forth to the next page. The reason you received an error while using the Trailer Renewal system is because your web browser is either not capable of accepting "cookies", or has been configured to ignore "cookies". Please refer to your browser's "Help" section to find out how "cookies" are enabled or click on the link below to view the Maine.gov "Help with Cookies" page.

2. My registration has my registrant name(s) spelled incorrectly. How can I have this corrected?

Name and date of birth changes cannot be done online. You will need to register in person at your town or city hall if this trailer requires payment of an excise tax. If the trailer is non-excise taxable you can go to your local motor vehicle branch office to have the information corrected.

3. What is the registration fee?

4. Why do I have to pay an agent fee to register online?

InforME charges an agent fee to cover the cost of developing and operating the Trailer Renewal system.
