Maine Department of Corrections Money Deposit Service

This service is provided by Maine Department of Corrections in partnership with InforME. The online application allows users to deposit funds into general (trust) accounts and phone accounts of eligible residents, with the convenience of a credit card.

Effective Immediately: In an effort to prevent misuse of the system, the MDOC in collaboration with InforME, has implemented the following changes to our online deposit system:

  • The maximum amount PER DAY you may deposit is $100 to general (Trust) account and $100 to a phone account - with a maximum of $200/week PER account.
  • A single email address cannot be used to make more than a $100 general (trust) account / $100 phone account deposit a day.

Service Rules

  • The maximum amount you may deposit is $100 to a general (trust) account and $100 to a phone account. NOTE: If deposits are to be made to both the general (trust) and phone account, these must be paid within a single transaction.
  • Notice - Funds deposited through this service are non-refundable.
  • Deposited funds will be available to the individual approximately 3 business days following your transaction.

What is Required?

  • The MDOC number and date of birth of the individual you wish to make a deposit for.
  • A valid credit or debit card with a Visa or MasterCard logo.
