THE TOWN OF MT DESERT accepts payment online through this service or in person over-the-counter at our municipal office.

  • Payments can be made through this service using a major credit/debit card (Mastercard, Visa, Discover or American Express).
  • This service makes it possible for you to pay online using your debit or credit card.
  • This service is provided by a third-party working in partnership with the State of Maine.
  • Your tax payment will be applied to your account, the convenience fee will be retained by the processing company.
  • Accounts that are in dispute or protest are ineligible for online payments. Please contact the Town office for more information.
  • Accounts that have gone through tax foreclosure are not eligible to use this service. Please contact town office for more information.
If your payment is deemed ineligible it will be refunded and you will receive notification from your municipality in order to make other arrangements to complete your transaction.
